Exhibition 'Matchmakers'

I’m participating in 'Matchmakers', organized by the Circle of Sculptors, which I recently joined as a member, with an installation and several wall pieces.

'Matchmakers' is an exhibition exploring the power of materials in visual art. While artists have traditionally worked within the boundaries of a single medium, there is a growing urge to combine disciplines and materials in new and unexpected ways.

For this exhibition, the curators challenged artists with a simple yet bold question:

'How can you bring together two contrasting materials in one artwork so that they enhance one another?'

The participating artists work hands-on with their materials, gradually mastering their properties through experimentation. In doing so, they push the boundaries of what these materials can do—and how they can interact.

The exhibition runs from April 8 to June 6 and is open to visitors Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 AM to 5 PM (until 4 PM on Saturdays).
